Canadiens' David Savard: Logs assist in loss

Savard recorded an assist in Sunday's 7-2 loss to the Blues.

Savard's lone shot deflected off the body of Joel Armia and past Jordan Binnington for Montreal's second tally. The helper snapped an eight-game drought for Savard, who is up to 12 points through 30 contests. He also has 89 blocked shots while filling a top-four role as a defense-first blueliner.
