Canadiens Send Thomas To AHL

Thomas was sent to AHL Hamilton on Friday, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports.Thomas was recalled from the AHL in late January, and has played in 18 contests with the Canadiens this season, notching his first career NHL goal Feb. 13 against the Oilers. He will head back to the minors for now and await another chance to return.
