Canes' Murphy Sent To AHL

Murphy was assigned to AHL Charlotte by the Hurricanes on Monday.Murphy will head back to the AHL with Cam Ward being activated from IR. He had a limited run as the backup goalie and did not play in any games during his time with the Hurricanes. He will return to the AHL and play more regularly in net.
