Sedin extended his point streak to four games with an assist in Wednesday's loss to Pittsburgh.
Sedin isn't exactly tearing it up right now, but he's gone four straight games with an assist and is up to eight points in 13 games on the season. The 35-year-old, who recorded his 1,000th career NHL point in Monday's win over the Flyers, is sporting a tidy plus-5 rating on the year. One thing to note, however, is that he's been held without a shot on goal for two straight games and is stuck on two goals this season. He'll produce points as the top-line center, but don't expect a lot of goals.
