Ovechkin notched two power-play helpers, six shots on goal, two PIM and four hits during Tuesday's 4-3 overtime loss to Pittsburgh in Game 6.

Ending the postseason with 12 points (Ovie's second-best mark of his career in the playoffs), the star Russian was unable to carry his team to a Game 7 with a shot at the Eastern Conference Finals. Ovechkin has now failed to reach that stage in the playoffs in 11 seasons with the Caps, which naturally puts a question mark over the head of the 2004 No. 1 pick. Still, the 30-year-old finished the regular season with his seventh 50-goal campaign and he'll come in hungry for redemption next year.
