Burakovsky (hand) will remain back in D.C. as the Penguins travel to California for a three-game road trip, Tom Gulitti of NHL.com reports.
Given the tight timeline -- three games in four days -- Burakovsky would likely have had little time to spend on rehabbing, so staying home is probably the better option. The winger's next opportunity to slot back into the lineup will be March 14, when the Caps welcome the Wild to town.
