Holtby turned aside 16 of 18 shots in a 5-2 win over the Penguins in Game 6 on Monday.
The Holtbeast actually had a shutout going until the home team potted two garbage-time goals within the last four minutes of regulation. Thanks to his backstopping the Caps to back-to-back wins while facing elimination, Holtby now gets an opportunity on home ice where a win would punch a ticket to the Eastern Conference finals. Game 7 goes Wednesday at Verizon Center.
