Beagle (upper body) was placed on injured reserve on Thursday, Isabelle Khurshudyan of the Washington Post reports.
Beagle suffered an upper body injury that was immediately expected to keep him out "an extended period of time," so his placement on IR means that he'll miss at least a week of action. The club recalled Aaron Ness in a corresponding move Thursday.
