Coyotes' Brad Richardson: Will travel with team, but not expected to play

Richardson (leg) will be "along for the ride" as the Coyotes kick off a three-game road trip, Sarah McLellan of The Arizona Republic reports.

While this news rules Richardson out for the next three contests, it's encouraging that he will be able to join the team. The center had a strong start to the year with five goals and four helpers in just 16 outings, but he hasn't played since mid-November. With Arizona almost certainly out of playoff contention, the team is likely in no rush to get the 36-year-old back on the ice.
