Hanzal underwent back surgery Tuesday, formally spelling ending his season, Craig Morgan of FOX Sports Arizona reports.Coach Dave Tippett said the procedure went well for Hanzal, who is expected to be fully healthy for the start of the 2015-16 campaign. The Coyotes already placed him on injured reserve last week.
