Tinordi made his debut for Arizona on Saturday, getting 15:39 TOI in a 3-2 win over the Kings. He had four blocked shots and two hits in the win.
Tinordi was acquired from Montreal more than a week ago, but had not yet suited up for the Coyotes. He stepped in for Nicklas Grossman, who sat out the game due to illness. Tinordi's a young, physical defender that needs ice time to develop. He wasn't getting that in Montreal, but the Coyotes are in a position where they can give Tinordi the minutes.
