Coyotes' Louis Domingue: Expected to be ready when first eligible

Domingue (lower body) should be ready to be activated when first eligible, Sarah McLellan of the Arizona Republic reports.

Domingue should return to the primary backup role for the Coyotes when healthy, but the recent play of Mike Smith will likely limit his opportunities between the pipes. Even when given a chance at the primary job, Domingue allowed no fewer than two goals in a game prior to his Nov. 23 injury. The team should update the netminder's status again when he's ready to play.
