Hanzal (lower body) participated in part of the team's practice Monday, Craig Morgan of the Arizona Republic reports.
Hanzal was placed on injured reserve last week with the lower-body ailment, but it's not believed to be a serious setback. If he's able to continue practicing throughout the week, the 28-year-old could return when he's first eligible Thursday against the Blue Jackets.
