Glencross has announced that he will retire at the age of 32, TSN's Darren Dreger reports.

A related report suggests that Glencross made the decision to hang up his skates in order to spend more time with his family, and the winger doesn't see himself playing in Europe. His NHL career comes to a close after playing for the Ducks, Blue Jackets, Oilers, Flames and Capitals, posting 134 goals and 141 assists through 507 regular-season games.
