Kinkaid was beaten four times on 36 shots in Tuesday's 5-2 loss to St. Louis.
Cory Schneider's backup had been doing solid work recently, giving up a total of just five goals in his prior three starts coming in, but his opportunities remain few and far between. This one, on the road against a Blues team that was primed for an offensive breakout, won't help Kinkaid win more starts, but he wasn't going to do that anyway with Schneider taking on a massive workload.
