Ruutu (lower body) was on the ice for practice Monday, but didn't participate in line rushes, Tom Gulitti of The Record reports.
Ruutu's first eligible to rejoin the lineup for Thursday's contest against the Avalanche, and his presence at practice Monday certainly bodes well for his chances of playing when first eligible. However, his progress at practice over the next couple days should provide a clearer picture of a potential timetable.
