Ex-Leaf Kozun Heads To KHL

Kozun has agreed to a contract with Jokerit of the KHL, Stephen Whyno of The Canadian Pressreports.At 25 years old, Kozun still has some youth on his side, but it's clear that the Leafs didn't view him as a cornerstone player in their rebuild. Despite being out of the running for a playoff spot by the All-Star break last season, Kozun still only appeared in 20 games for the Leafs, notching a pair of goals and assists. Perhaps he'll entertain a return to the NHL next summer.
