Flames Assign Poirier To AHL

Poirier was assigned to AHL Adirondack Sunday, Flames beat writer Wes Gilberts reports.Poirier saw time in six games with the Flames last season, recording one assist during that span. He spent the majority of his time with AHL Adirondack, playing in 55 games, while recording 19 goals and 23 assists. After playing in 55 games with them last season, Poirier is plenty familiar with the Flames' AHL affiliate.
