LaBarbera was recalled from AHL Lehigh Valley on Monday, Bill Meltzer of NHL.com reports.
LaBarbera's presence on the roster will likely be temporary, as Steve Mason is away from the team for a personal matter. He'll serve as the backup to Michal Neuverth on Monday, but could wind up back in the AHL shortly thereafter.
