Mason (illness) will back up Anthony Stolarz for Sunday night's road game against the Rangers, Dan Rosen of NHL.com reports.
Mason missed just one game while sick, but will now back up Stolarz after Michal Neuvirth (illness) collapsed during Saturday's win over the Devils. Mason was on a four-game winning streak prior to falling ill, so he could be a good bet in fantasy formats once he's given the starting nod again.
