Leier was called up from AHL Lehigh Valley on Monday, TSN reports.
An upper-body injury to Matt Read necessitated the call-up for Leier, who brought a teaspoon's worth of scoring punch at hockey's lower levels -- 39 goals in 166 games with the Phantoms -- and is quick on the rush. Still, your fantasy league would have to be extremely deep to justify giving him a look.
