Golden Knights' Trevor van Riemsdyk: Drafted by Vegas, headed to Carolina?

Van Riemsdyk has been selected by the Vegas Golden Knights in the 2017 NHL Expansion Draft, TSN's Bob McKenzie reports.

However, McKenzie reports that it appears TVR will be flipped to Carolina on Thursday. As a 24-year-old defenseman with offensive upside, van Riemsdyk should have a ton of trade value. If he is indeed flipped to the Hurricanes, expect the return to be significant.
