The NHL trading deadline has come and gone and there are a lot of new-look teams, especially in the Western Conference. If you are looking for help at the forward position in your Fantasy league, look no further than veteran Gary Roberts, who has moved on to the Pittsburgh Penguins. He skated on the top scoring line with Sid the Kid and Mark Recchi and will see a huge jump in appeal. Conversely, his arrival in Pittsburgh has crippled the value of Jordan Staal, who has been moved down to the third line to skate with Colby Armstrong and Maxime Talbot. That is a far cry from his previous placement with Malkin. He is still a decent option in most leagues, but don't expect the same type of minutes and production he had been seeing. However, Armstrong and Talbot see a little more appeal with a player of Staal's skill on their line. … The Blackhawks have moved Tuomo Ruutu back to the top scoring line with Martin Havlat and Radim Vrbata. The center has been struggling, but playing next to the red hot Havlat should fire him up immediately. … Former Blackhawk Brandon Bochenski continues to produce in Beantown and he has been rewarded by coach Dave Lewis. The coach scooted him up and paired him with Patrice Bergeron and Marco Sturm. With those type of linemates, things can only get better. … The goaltender situation in Montreal is a mess right now, as David Aebischer is allowing too many goals and Jaroslav Halak is unproven. Down the stretch, Halak looks like the more viable Fantasy option since he doesn't give up a lot of easy goals like Aebischer. Coach Guy Carbonneau has a quick trigger finger when it comes to goaltenders and he has to wonder why the club didn't pursue a veteran like Ed Belfour or Curtis Joseph at the deadline.

The following five teams have the best matchups for the upcoming week. That doesn't necessarily mean they will post the best Fantasy stats, but if you're looking for a one-week start or are trying to make a difficult decision between two players to use, lean toward players from these teams:
Team 3/5 3/6 3/7 3/8 3/9 3/10 3/11
Anaheim Ducks (ANA) -- -- PHO -- EDM -- VAN
The Ducks will face the gutted Coyotes and Oilers before a huge battle in SoCal against the Canucks. It should be a nice week for the Ducks.
Atlanta Thrashers (ATL) -- FLA -- MON -- @FLA --
The Thrashers are a contender for the Stanley Cup and will continue their march towards their first-ever playoff appearance with three favorable games this week.
Chicago Blackhawks (CHI) -- LA -- -- -- @PHO --
We never like to suggest teams with just two games in a scoring period, but the Blackhawks are must-starts in average leagues.
Dallas Stars (DAL) -- -- -- @STL @CLB -- LA
For Fantasy owners beginning the playoffs, or those jockeying to get in, this is a schedule made in heaven for the Stars on their roster, especially Marty Turco or the Stars TG.
Ottawa Senators (OTT) -- PIT -- TOR -- @TOR --
The Senators will face the Penguins in what should be a exciting battle, before renewing their rivalry with their Ontario neighbors for a home-and-home.

The following five teams have the worst matchups for the upcoming week. That doesn't necessarily mean you should reserve every player from these teams, but try to avoid less-heralded performers from these squads if you have an alternative on your roster:
Team 3/5 3/6 3/7 3/8 3/9 3/10 3/11
Buffalo Sabres (BUF) -- -- COL -- MIN NJ --
The Sabres are banged up, although they picked up a reinforcement at the deadline in Dainius Zubrus. However, they face some stiff goaltending in the upcoming period.
Edmonton Oilers (EDM) -- -- TB -- @ANA -- @SJ
The sad Oilers are still reeling from the trade of Ryan Smyth. In two games without their former leader, they have as many goals as you and I do.
New York Rangers (NYR) NYI -- -- @NYI -- @PIT CAR
The Rangers have a difficult home-and-home against the refurbished Islanders before meeting two more playoff contenders over the weekend.
Phoenix Coyotes (PHO) -- -- @ANA VAN -- CHI --
The Coyotes are worse this week than last week, as they dealt Oleg Saprykin to the Senators and they lost Ed Jovanovski for the season.
Toronto Maple Leafs (TOR) -- WAS -- @OTT -- OTT --
The skidding Maple Leafs face a home-and-home with the Senators, which is never good for them. The Leafs and the Rangers are the only two teams above .500 with a winning record at home, but losing record on the road.
