Skinner's assist in the first period of Friday's 5-3 win over the Jets extended his scoring streak to four games (1G, 4A).
The good news is, with 18 goals and 12 assists in 53 games, Skinner is just one point away from the 31 he scored last season. The bad news? He's super streaky, and you just never know when that next point is going to come. Given his current pace, Skinner could wind up with 50 points this season, or 35. In reality, the truth probably lies somewhere in the middle.
