Islanders' Jean-Francois Berube: Sent to Bridgeport for conditioning assignment

Berube (lower body) has been activated from injured reserve and sent to AHL Bridgeport for a conditioning assignment, Arthur Staple of Newsday reports.

With Jaroslav Halak and Thomas Greiss both healthy for the NHL squad, Berube will likely stay at AHL Bridgeport once he completes his conditioning assignment. He made his first NHL appearance earlier this season, giving up four goals in a loss to the Blackhawks on Oct. 10.
