Tavares notched an assist and an empty-net goal in Thursday's 3-0 win over Montreal.
Sure, this secondary helper and unchallenged goal aren't the two most impressive points of Tavares' career, but there's no stopping his second-half hot streak. Through the season's first 39 games, Tavares posted a modest (by his standards) 27 points; in the 21 games since, he's ripped off a dozen goals and a baker's dozen of assists. He's given us no reason to think he'll slow down now.
