Strome lit the lamp in what proved to be the game-winning goal, adding an assist, a plus-2 rating and two hits in Thursday's 5-4 victory over Florida in Game 1.
Strome is a bottom-six winger, but with defense essentially null and void in Game 1, the 22-year-old registered a multi-point outing in just 10:36 of ice time. The 2011 first-round pick notched two tallies and two apples in last year's playoffs, and he's well on his way to breaking that mark after this explosion.
