Kings Waive Van der Gulik

Van der Gulik was waived by the Kings on Monday, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports.Van der Gulik had little to no shot at opening the season with the reigning Stanley Cup champs. He's expected to clear waivers and report to AHL Manchester, where he'll bide his time until injuries afford him the opportunity to join the big club.
