Vasilevskiy stopped 19 of 20 shots in a tough-luck loss to the Panthers on Monday.
His mates in front of him sent 39 shots on net, but Roberto Luongo was perfect at the the other end. Vasilevskiy nearly matched him, as it appeared the contest was headed to overtime, but the Panthers got the game's lone tally with just 21 seconds remaining in regulation. The 21-year-old has gotten four starts since being activated off the IR at the beginning of the month, and should factor into the rotation more than the average backup.
