Torres has decided to shut himself down for the remainder of the 2015-16 campaign.
Torres has been bothered by a nagging knee injury for much of the 2015-16 campaign, and has decided to forgo the rest of the season in an attempt to get back to full health. The 34-year-old winger is set to become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season, and will likely need to earn a roster spot with an NHL club in training camp if he decides to play in 2016-17.
