Maple Leafs' Roman Polak: Boarding call results in two-game ban

Polak was assessed a two-game suspension for boarding Blue Jackets forward Oliver Bjorkstrand in Wednesday's game.

This ruling is supplementary to Polak's in-game boarding and game misconduct penalties. According to Scouting The Refs, a web site that tracks the NHL's disciplinary history, Polak is the 19th player to be hit with a suspension this campaign, including guys that missed preseason games due to suspensions.
