Simmonds (illness) won't play Saturday against Ottawa, David Alter of Sports Illustrated reports.
Simmonds did not make the trip with the Leafs to Ottawa after missing Friday's practice. He will be replaced in the lineup by Radim Zohorna, who will make his Toronto debut. Simmonds has two assists, 38 hits and 38 PIM in 16 games this season.
