Penguins' Cameron Gaunce: Recalled from minors

Gaunce was called up from AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Friday.

Gaunce's promotion comes at the expense of Olli Maatta (hand), who is expected to be lost for the next six weeks. The 26-year-old Gaunce logged three games in mid-January in which he averaged just 13:17 of ice time, but he still managed to record a pair of helpers. The Ontario native will likely be competing for ice time against fellow blueliners Chad Ruhwedel and Steven Oleksy.
