Pouliot was cited for public drunkenness Sunday and didn't play Wednesday against the St. John's Ice Caps, the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports.

The highest-rated prospect in Pittsburgh's organization, Pouliot failed to make the team out of training camp and was sent to the AHL. Pouliot scored one goal and six points in eight games for the Baby Pens prior to his brush with the law. He was expected to skate in Wilkes-Barre for the foreseeable future, but the drinking issue won't help get him to Pittsburgh any sooner. It remains to be seen whether the 21-year-old will be disciplined by the organization.
