Pouliot picked up an assist on Phil Kessel's goal Tuesday in a 2-0 win over New Jersey -- his first point of the year.

It was just his second NHL game of the season, but the Penguins' 2012 first-round pick (eighth overall) has been scoring consistently in the AHL, where he's racked up six goals and 23 points in 37 games. It's worth noting that Pouliot saw minimal ice time in this one, skating a meager 11:34 with no action on special teams in his third-pairing role.
