Murray made 29 saves in a 2-1 shootout loss to Ottawa on Thursday.
He was unable to hold down a one-goal lead heading into the third period, then allowed shootout goals to both skaters he faced. Murray has improved his play in his last couple starts, but he'll likely give way to Marc-Andre Fleury at home against the Islanders on Friday.
