Bonino finished Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Finals on a broken leg, Jonathan Bombulie of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports.

Given the news that Bonino has a broken tibia, it should come as no surprise that he was unable to suit up for the Penguins' Stanley Cup-clinching Game 6 on Sunday. The center will be an unrestricted free agent this summer and will likely garner a significant pay bump from the $1.9 million he earned last season given his contributions. There are no indications the 29-year-old won't be ready in time for the 2017-18 campaign.
