Hornqvist (upper body) was ruled out for Game 4 against the Senators on Friday, Dave Molinari of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

This was expected to be the case since Hornqvist isn't believed to be making much progress in his rehab and carried a 'doubtful' tag Thursday. With the Penguins backed into a 2-1 series deficit entering the next contest, playing without a physical, net-front, power-play weapon like Hornqvist is quite unfortunate. His replacement, Carl Hagelin, went minus-2 in Game 3, but he has the speed necessary to give the Senators fits in certain situations.
