Crosby scored his third goal of the year Thursday, and it ended up being the game-winner against the Avs.
This goal was vintage Crosby, as he showed long-absent burst, splitting two defenders while receiving a pass from Pascal Dupuis and beating Avs goalie Reto Berra between the legs. At the time, the tally gave the Pens a 4-2 lead, but Matt Duchene's late goal made it the game-winner. There have been a lot of false starts this year en route to Sid's stunningly mediocre (or by Crosby standards, garbage) 10 points and minus-7 rating, so this could just be a mirage. That said, this is still one of the stars of the game we're talking about, and he seems to be finding his stride.
