Rinne stood on his head Tuesday night against the Stars, denying 35 of 37 shots but ultimately taking a 2-1 loss.

Rinne was outstanding in this one, and it's hard to blame him for the two goals allowed. On the first one, the puck was deflected into the net; he was crowded at point-blank range on the other. The 6-foot-5 netminder remains one of the league's best, as he sports a career 2.37 GAA -- that rate doesn't necessarily jump off the page at first glance, but consider that his career really took off in the late 2000s, when scoring had drastically spiked across the league.
