Lundqvist was yanked in the second period Saturday, giving up three goals on nine shots in a 4-3 loss to Buffalo.
Lundqvist gave up his third in the first minute of the second period, ending the netminder's night early at home. March was ugly for the 34-year-old, as he notched just two wins, and now it's evident he's on a short leash. Even with a 2.47 GAA and .920 save percentage on the season, coach Alain Vigneault isn't going to sit back and watch his netminder struggle between the pipes down the stretch.
