Red Wings Reassign Almquist To AHL

Almquist was reassigned to AHL Grand Rapids on Thursday, MLive.com's Ansar Khan reports.Almquist and three other players were recalled Wednesday to fill out the Red Wings' practice lines with several skaters still in Sochi for the Olympics, but they will all be sent to the minors for the weekend. Grand Rapids plays three games in three days and will be in need of all the bodies they can get.
