Senators' Clarke MacArthur: Placed on injured reserve

MacArthur (concussion) has been listed on injured reserve on the NHL Media site.

MacArthur will visit a concussion specialist in the near future after suffering his second in as many seasons. He missed all of last year with the injury, but made a recovery before taking a hit from teammate Patrick Sieloff that resulted in his second. More on his prognosis could surface following the doctor visit, but he will at least begin the season on IR.
