Karlsson dished out a power-play assist in Thursday's 3-1 win over Florida. The superstar now holds the record for most points in a season by a Swedish blueliner with 81.

Karlsson passed Nicklas Lidstrom for most all-time amongst Swedish defensemen, and he still has one more game to add to the total. The 25-year-old star has reached the scoresheet in the last four contests, while also notching points in seven of eight. The point-per-game pace is safe, with the next step possibly being a well-earned Norris Trophy.
