Coach Dave Cameron won't put Puempel in the lineup "for the sake of putting him in," Don Brennan of the Ottawa Sun reports.
Cameron also noted that he likes the way his lines are performing, which could mean more healthy scratches for Puempel in the near future. Even if the 23-year-old suits up, the winger has two points in 16 games this year and can be safely left on waivers. The 2011 first-round pick will have to develop his game and show more promise before being considered fantasy relevant -- he has just three goals and two helpers in his career.
