Carpenter was recalled from AHL San Jose on Tuesday.
Carpenter gets the call for the second time in four days, though he hasn't seen the ice for the big club since November. He'll try to crack the lineup this time around, but Carpenter's unlikely to cause a blip on the fantasy radar anytime soon.
