Wingels collected an assist in Tuesday night's win over the Bruins.
Ladies and gentlemen, we have a Wingels sighting. After averaging 37 points the past two seasons, the versatile third-line center has had a rough go at it in 2015-16. He's only averaging one point every three contests and is minus-6 on the season. Perhaps the most alarming stat from Wingels is that he has fired 35 shots on goal and only lit the lamp once, leading to a dismal 2.9 shooting percentage. The upside simply isn't there for Wingels and you're better off finding alternatives at the forward position for now.
