Tickles twine on power play

Van Riemsdyk had a power-play goal for Toronto early in the second period of the team's loss to Montreal. It was the Leafs' only goal.JVR finished minus-1 with four shots and three hits while playing on the team's top line. The team made a solid first impression with Mike Babcock behind the bench for the first time, but they couldn't convert at even strength. This isn't a surprise and will be an ongoing challenge for all, including JVR.
