Zucker toughed out a lower-body injury and ended up with a plus-2 rating and three shots over 13:04 of ice time. On his scoring play, he ripped the puck away from Avalanche goalie Calvin Pickard from behind the cage and then swooped around for his 22nd goal of the season, a new career high.
