Teravainen will start the season on the Blackhawks' top line, Mark Lazerus of the Chicago Sun-Times reports. With Jonathan Toews and Artem Anisimov in the fold, Teravainen was originally expected to slot in as Chicago's third-line center. However, it now appears as though head coach Joel Quenneville, at least for the time being, has had second thoughts about sticking the 21-year-old Teravainen at center, as the Finland native is now expected to skate alongside Jonathan Toews and Marian Hossa on the Hawks' first line. Teravainen showed flashes of excellence last season, tallying nine points (four goals, five assists) in 34 regular season games, and an additional 10 points (four goals, six assists) in 18 postseason contests with Chicago. Barring injury, Teravainen could very well be in for a breakout season if he is able to stick with Toews and Hossa on the Blackhawk's top line.
